Target Population
Mental health and substance abuse services are offered to children between the ages of 0 through 17 and their families.
Eligibility Criteria
Dependency and Community Children, Adolescents and Families Suffering from Emotional and Psychological Problems.
Scope of Services
Assessment services are necessary in order to determine the most appropriate and least restrictive treatment modality for the child. Psychosocial assessments are conducted by licensed clinicians upon admission to the Center's clinical program.
Out Patient Mental Health (Onsite/Home/Schools) offers an array of therapeutic services which include individual, family, group and aggression therapies, behavior management and other adjunctive therapies. We seek to ameliorate the child, adolescent, and family's emotional/psychological problems. Services are provided by licensed therapists and master level therapists supervised by licensed clinicians.
Infant Mental Health (O-5 years-old) assessments and dyadic therapy provided by qualified clinicians.
Targeted Case Management provides assessment, monitoring, linking, and accessing services for children suspected of having a mental health diagnosis. This service is provided in an effort to coordinate services which will enable the children to live in a stable setting and to function appropriately.
Medical Services are provided by boardcertified psychiatrists and include psychiatric assessment, medication management, treatment authorization, and supervision.
Psychological Evaluations are conducted by licensed psychologists.
Specialized Therapeutic Foster and Group Care are residential treatment milieus for dependent children whose serious emotional and behavioral conditions preclude placement in regular foster homes. Both programs offer intensive mental health treatment by a team of clinicians and daily interventions by specially trained foster parents or house parents.
Respite Care includes services which allow the caregiver some assistance or time away from the client during stressful situations or in cases where a child presents significant behavior management problems. Services may include "one to one" supervision by a behavior technician as well as utilizing "respite parents" to supervise child(ren) in the home of a therapeutic home.

Fees: CFCE accepts Medicaid and all Medicaid-Managed- Care Plans. A sliding scale fee rate is also available.
