DRUG FREE WORKPLACE

The Center for Family and Child Enrichment has an obligation to its employees, clients and the public at large to reasonably ensure safety in our workplace, as well as safety in our products. Consequently, the following are strictly prohibited: use, possession, sale, purchase, transfer or being under the influence of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or other intoxicants at any time on Corporate premises or while on Corporate business.

With that said, all employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Additionally, if it is suspected, with reasonable cause, that an employee is engaging in the use of any intoxicants while on Corporate premises or while on Corporate business, the employee will be asked to immediately submit to a mandatory drug test.

Employees found to be in violation of this policy can be subject to counseling by his/her immediate supervisor, referred to a drug counseling facility and dismissal.



HOME STUDY SPECIALIST

Job Summary
Conduct a home assessment on the home and residents (potential caretakers), in order to evaluate their ability to appropriately care for the child(ren) placed in the home. This person must thoroughly prepare the home study document and addendum, with all of the required attachments within the required timeframes.

Shift
Primarily day shift; however, there will be weekend and evening hours

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the area of psychology, social work or related behavioral science discipline.
  • Child Welfare Certification
  • A minimum of one year experience in the field of child welfare.
  • Knowledge of Dependency/Child Welfare statutes, policies, and procedures




DEPENDENCY ADOPTIONS CASE MANAGER SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
To manage the daily operations of an adoption case management unit; supervise adoption case management staff and support staff; guide case management staff in adoption planning tasks; coordinate service delivery to ensure that client needs and program goals are being met. This position entails a flexible work schedule-generally 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., including a one hour lunch period. The position requires 24/7 on-call availability.

Primarily day shift; however, on call 24/7 as needed

Qualifications
A Masters Degree in a human services related field from an accredited university, two years relevant experience working with children and families in the Child Welfare System; or a Bachelors degree in a human services related field and four years of relevant experience working with children and families in the Child Welfare System. If you have a Bachelors degree in a non-human services area, you must have at least 6 years of experience working with children and families in the Child Welfare System. All candidates must have at least two years of adoptions experience and must possess a State of Florida Child Protection Certification. Supervisory experience and adoption competency training preferred.



HR ASSISTANT

Job Summary
In this professional position, you will support the HR functions in recruitment, benefits and administration. This includes assisting the HR Manager as needed with filing, faxing copying and other clerical duties; as well as processing new hire paperwork, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks and maintaining personnel files.

Shift
Generally 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., including a one hour lunch period.

Qualifications
High school diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred; Human Resources Generalist experience preferred.



MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

Job Summary
General indoor and outdoor maintenance and repair work for multiple office and group home locations. Basic computer skills. Ability to use a wide range of common hand and power tools; as well as precision and measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Experience with air conditioning and plumbing preferred. Will include standing, lifting, climbing, bending and working occasionally in cramped and/or uncomfortable settings.

Shift
Primarily day shift with occasional weekend and evening hours. On call for emergency repairs.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Florida Driver's License/insurance must be maintained throughout employment.



DIRECTOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Job Summary
The qualified applicant will provide development and oversight of mental health and substance abuse programming for children and adults. In this role, you must have the capacity to exponentially expand the present behavioral health department into serving adults, as well as children, and to establish and manage a substance abuse treatment program. S/he will provide clinical oversight of patient care for all behavioral health services and ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Municipal regulations, including Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurers. Must have a thorough knowledge of and experience in work with Managed Care payors. Must also be a team player with the ability to integrate behavioral health with primary care; and to position the department under the FQHC umbrella.

Shift
This position entails a flexible work schedule and requires 24/7 on-call availability.

Qualifications
A license is required in social work, mental health, or marriage and family therapy (PhD preferred). A minimum of five years' supervisory experience required with clinicians providing therapy to children and adults; and with a minimum of three years' in supervising supervisors, clinical or otherwise. Ability to develop and manage performance metrics for behavioral health programs.



Adoptions Case Manager

Job Summary
Develop and review service plans and implement activities in an effort to find permanent homes for children in the dependency foster care system, who are eligible for adoption. Complete case management tasks to finalize adoptions; and advocate for clients at relevant agencies, service planning meetings and in the courts, as needed. Also, this person will conduct and document home visits, schedule appointments (including contacting responsible parties to coordinate appointments giving directions as needed) and/or arrange transportation and other services, as needed.

Primarily day shift; however, on call 24/7 as needed.

Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in a human services related field from an accredited university and at least one year working with children and families. State of Florida Child Protection Certification. Previous Adoptions experience preferred.



CLINICAL THERAPIST (PER DIEM)

Job Summary
Provide weekly individual and family therapy to clients, using appropriate treatment modality. Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments of clients referred for therapy, ensuring that all appropriate assurances and authorizations are obtained. Develop and maintain appropriate treatment planning in conjunction with clients/families.

Primarily day shift with some evening & weekend hours

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related behavioral science discipline. Two years clinical experience providing therapy to children and families. Bilingual English/ Spanish required.



Dependency Case Manager

Youth Care Worker

Job Summary
Provide direct care services for minor residents ages 0 -13, in the CFCE respite center. This includes participation in all day, evening and night activities with shelter residents and monitoring resident areas to provide a safe therapeutic environment. Additional duties include preparing meals for residents, attending scheduled in-service trainings and completing daily inspections and progress notes. Complete other duties as directed.
